Which products to advertise more, and which less
Advertise more or less scores every product from 0 to 100 on what makes ads pay: margin (break-even ACOS from your cost and Amazon's fees), stock (days of cover), reviews, Buy Box and conversion against your average, and how its ads do now against break-even. Each product gets a verdict with the reasons: push, keep, pull, stop, or fix before ads.
Each product scored for advertising: push, keep, pull, stop or fix first, with the reasons.
- A 0-100 score per product from margin, stock, reviews, Buy Box and conversion
- Verdicts: push, keep, pull, stop, or fix first (not advertised and not ready for ads)
- Ad spend, TACoS and the campaigns that mostly advertise it
- Act from the page: pauses go to Suggested changes, playbooks after your confirmation
How it works
Each product is scored
Margin from your product cost and Amazon's fees (break-even ACOS), days of cover, reviews (the share of new reviews in the last 8 weeks that are 1-3 stars), Buy Box share and conversion against your store's average.
Its ads are compared with break-even
ACOS against the product's break-even ACOS, ad spend and TACoS, and the campaigns that spend most on it.
A verdict with reasons
Push (room to grow at a profit), keep, pull (spends more than it earns), stop, or fix first for a product you do not advertise yet that is not ready for ads.
You act on it
Stop puts a pause of its product ads in Suggested changes. Push and pull set the Growth or Profit playbook on the campaigns that spend 80% or more on it once you confirm the preview; the autopilot uses it from its next run (on Suggest, what it would change waits for your OK).
Why margin comes first
A product with a 15% margin cannot pay for ads at 30% ACOS, however well it sells. With your product costs entered, each product's own break-even sets what it can afford.
What it does not do
Stated plainly, so you know before you start.
- It needs your product costs for the margin part; without them the score leaves margin out
- It does not change anything without your approval or confirmation
- It does not create new campaigns
- Amazon's seller data has no star rating: reviews count only once a product has 3 or more new ones
