Where your product ranks for the searches that matter

Rankings checks, once a day, where your product appears in Amazon's catalogue search for each keyword you track, with the change over 7 and 30 days. Next to it: your ads' top-of-search impression share, clicks and orders for the same keyword, so you see whether ads are carrying the search or organic rank is.

Organic position of your product for each tracked keyword every day, next to your ads on the same search.

  • Organic position per product and keyword, every day
  • Change over 7 and 30 days
  • Your ads' top-of-search share, clicks and orders on the same keyword
  • Used by the Rank playbook to push hero keywords

How it works

  1. Track a keyword

Pick the product and the keyword.

  2. Checked once a day

A long list is spread over a few days. Your product's position in Amazon's catalogue search for that keyword, over the first two or three pages.

  3. Ads beside it

Top-of-search impression share, impressions, clicks and orders of that keyword from your advertising reports.

  4. Act on it

Rank movement on your hero keywords feeds the Rank playbook; a rival brand moving into the top 3 of your brand searches raises an alert.

An estimate from Amazon's API

The organic position comes from Amazon's Catalog Items API in relevance order. It is an API estimate of organic rank, not a scrape of the live page, so it can differ from what one shopper sees.

What it does not do

Stated plainly, so you know before you start.

  • It is an API estimate, not a scrape of the live search page
  • It checks the first 2 to 3 pages
  • It does not change bids by itself; the Rank playbook does, inside your guardrails

Questions sellers ask

How often are ranks checked?
Once a day (a long list is spread over a few days), and any time you press Check ranks.
Why does my rank differ from what I see?
Amazon personalises results by shopper, location and device; the tracker reads Amazon's catalogue search in relevance order, the same way every day, so the trend is what to watch.
